Free design resources.
Made by humans.
Since 2013.
PSDboom is a curated library of free PSDs, mockups, Figma templates, UI kits, resume templates and AI-powered design tools, serving creatives worldwide for the last 13 years. Every resource is reviewed by a human editor before it ships. Every tool is built in-house. We don't take ads. We don't fake numbers. We just ship things designers actually use.

Why PSDboom exists.
PSDboom started in 2013 as a tiny side project: a corner of the internet where working designers could grab a clean PSD without a paywall, a popup, an "enter your email", or a watermark. That original promise hasn't changed.
In the years since, the library has grown into mockups, Figma templates, UI kits, resume templates, branding systems and — most recently — a small suite of AI-powered design tools we built in-house. Everything we ship is something at least one of us would use ourselves on a real client project.
We don't do "made-for-search" content. We don't auto-generate articles to chase keywords. We don't rank-and-bank pages we wouldn't share with a friend. The only reason a download or a tool exists on this site is because someone on our team wanted it themselves and decided to make it once, properly, for everyone.
“If a logged-out human wouldn't share it with a colleague, we don't publish it.”
How a resource gets here.
Our intake process — the same one we've used since 2014.
-
01
Sourced or built
Every resource is either created in-house by a PSDboom designer or contributed by a named author whose work we already know. We do not aggregate from unknown PSD-dump sites.
-
02
Tested in the actual software
Every PSD is opened in Photoshop. Every Figma file is opened in Figma. Every UI kit is rendered at the advertised size. If smart objects are claimed, we replace one to confirm it works. We have rejected files for being lazily layered.
-
03
Licensed clean
We verify the license before we list a resource as free for personal AND commercial use. If the source license is unclear, the file is rejected, no exceptions.
-
04
Editorialised
The title, description, screenshots and category tags are written by a human editor in our voice — not pulled from a vendor sheet, not auto-generated.
-
05
Reviewed before it ships
A second pair of eyes — always a different team member from the first — spot-checks the file, the description and the preview imagery before we publish. About one in five submissions doesn't make it past this step.

Updated when reality changes
When a piece of source software ships a breaking change (Photoshop variable fonts, new Figma file format, etc.) we re-test the affected resources and update or retire the ones that no longer behave correctly.
Where we use AI — and where we don't.
Plain English. No spin.
A generative model produces the image from a user prompt. Disclosed on the tool page, the gallery, and on every individual image page. Output is licence-clean and free for commercial use.
Titles and descriptions for gallery images are AI-rewritten from the original prompt for readability. The original verbatim prompt is preserved on every image page so visitors can see the source.
Suggestions surfaced by our naming, hashtag and idea-generator tools are produced by an AI model wired into the tool, with the same disclosure on the tool page itself.
The article copy, this About page, the editorial guides, the resource long-form descriptions and category landing pages are written by a human editor on the team.
PSDs, mockups, Figma files, UI kits, resume templates — the actual downloadable assets are made by named designers, not generated. AI is never used to fabricate the source files we ship.
We do not publish AI-generated reviews. We do not show AI-generated star ratings. We do not show fake "trusted by N users" counts. (See our public anti-spam policy below.)
For our complete editorial discipline — what we will and won't publish, and how we treat AI-assisted content — see our public editorial standards.

What we will — and won't — do.
These rules are public, version-controlled and apply to every page on the site.
- Test every download in the actual software it claims to support.
- Disclose AI use, line by line, on the page where it occurs.
- Credit the original author on every contributed resource.
- Update or retire resources when the underlying software breaks them.
- Show real download counts (the same number for the user and the editor).
- Publish corrections — with a dated note — when we get something wrong.
- Publish fake reviews, fake ratings or fabricated testimonials.
- Inflate "trusted by N users" counts.
- Auto-generate articles to chase keywords (no scaled content).
- Run cloaked or doorway pages.
- Hide affiliate disclosures (we don't use affiliate links here).
- Sell user data. We don't share emails. Read our Privacy policy.
Spotted something wrong? Email [email protected]. Confirmed errors are corrected with a dated note appended to the affected post within 7 days. Material corrections also surface in the next changelog entry.
These numbers are read directly from our database at page load. They are not seeded, not rounded up, not aspirational.
