Everything runs in your browser using the standard Web platform — Canvas, the File API and a tiny bit of JavaScript. No server roundtrip, so it works offline once the page is loaded.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. Anything the generator produces is yours to use — for personal projects, brand work or commercial products. Always do a trademark and domain search before committing a name to a real launch.

How many favicon can I generate?

Unlimited. There are no quotas, no rate limits and no API keys. Hit generate as many times as you need.

Do you store anything I type?

No. The tool is fully client-side — your inputs never leave the device. Your favourites are saved to your browser's localStorage so they survive a page refresh, but they are not transmitted anywhere.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

+ Which favicon sizes do I actually need?

For most sites, 32×32 (browser tab) and 180×180 (Apple touch icon) are mandatory. The 192/512 sizes are required for PWA install. We generate all 10 standard sizes so every platform is covered.

+ Can I use an SVG favicon?

Yes — modern browsers support <link rel="icon" type="image/svg+xml">. However, for best compatibility with Apple devices and PWA manifests, you still need PNG fallbacks at the standard sizes, which this tool generates.

+ Does my image leave my browser?

No. The favicon is generated entirely client-side using HTML5 Canvas. Your image and your design choices never touch our server.

Different platforms request different sizes: Chrome wants 32, Safari wants 180, Android Chrome wants 192, Windows tile wants 256, PWA install wants 512. Providing all of them prevents browsers from up-scaling and producing blurry icons.
